PRODUCT OVERVIEW: 

• Nylog Blue - is viscoelastic liquid derived from a synthetic ester oil base and is suitable for application on to HFC systems that contain POE or PVE oil 
   
• Nylog Red - is viscoelastic liquid derived from a refrigeration grade mineral oil and is suitable for application on CFC or HCFC systems that contain mineral or alkyl benzene oil

Both are Non-hardening, non-drying fluid which bonds tenaciously onto many different substrates. Nylog Blue is completely miscible and compatible with virtually all refrigerants and base compressor oils. The product will not cause any system restrictions, fouling or failure. NYLOG is used by OEM’s and industry professionals worldwide.

COMPETITIVE POINTS OF DIFFERENCE:

Nylog is both a lubricant and the industry’s only fully compatible and completely miscible sealant. It cannot contaminate, clog or cause any system restrictions and is the only sealant that remains system safe when used on any gasket or threaded connection. Nylog is guaranteed to never harden or dry, requires no setup time and remains a viscoelastic refrigeration oil for life.

Boiling point 232°C with de-polymerization occurring at 187°C.

CERTIFCATIONS: 

Mixtures of Nylog Blue with mineral, alkyl benzene, POE, PAG and PVE oils have passed ASHRAE STD 97 seal tube compatibility testing with numerous refrigerants including R410a and R-32. NSF H2 registration number 119845. Kosher Certified by OK Kosher.

Mixtures of Nylog Red with mineral and alkyl benzene oils have passed ASHRAE STD 97 seal tube compatibility testing with both CFC-12 and HCFC-22 refrigerants. NSF H2 registration number 119843. Kosher Certified by OK Kosher.

APPLICATION:

Use as a sealant to prevent high pressure leakage on any threaded connection, gasket, O-rings, saddle taps, shaft seals or Schrader valve. Use as an assembly lubricant. Typical uses include coating of pistons, cylinders, rods, rings and valves. Refrigerant leakage is greatly reduced when shaft seals are coated with Nylog.

Coated Schrader valve cores do not leak and their depressors remain lubricated. Pre-lubed solenoids, actuators, unloaders or ball valves are prevented from binding. Gaskets coated with Nylog do not become heat fixed to the base metal. The gaskets can be easily removed many years later.

1. Apply Nylog to gaskets, threads, or use as an assembly lube

FRIDGEY FACTS:

• If you wanted only one Nylog bottle in your kit, the most universally suitable is Nylog Blue. Being POE based, it is compatible with all refrigerants and oils
   
• Nylog is approved for use only on refrigeration and air-conditioning systems – nothing else. Do not use on oxygen gas, water or natural gas lines
   
• The chemical formulations of Nylog are a closely guarded secret, so there’s little else to say, except that it works. The global market can’t be wrong
   
• Nylog is OEM approved by multiple HVACR system manufacturers
