This water filter helps to keep your fridge fresh and clean ,whilst eliminating foul smells and bacteria. In fridges with built in ice makers or fresh water dispensers, the water filter works by extracting impurities from the water whilst improving the hygiene of ice and water. The filter also protects your water line or ice maker from unpleasant build up, making every glass refreshing and crisp.  Most Hisense filters can be found at the back corner of your fridge or at the bottom front of the fridge depending on your fridge model. This is a genuine Hisense filter.

What causes a faulty water filter?

The most common reasons why water filters break include, poor installing, extreme cold temperatures, the age of the filter and high-water pressures. Frozen water due to cold temperatures and can cause the filter to cease and break. High water pressure and using old filters can cause the filter more stress, leading to leaks, cracks or buildup. This can then affect the water's taste,  smell and overall cleanliness.
