PRODUCT OVERVIEW:

Viper Heat Blocking Gel is a thermal absorption compound that will prevent fire or heat damage when using an open flame around wood, drywall, fabric and other combustible material.  Spray on all surfaces to protect and block heat transfer to valves and other heat sensitive components when conducting low temperature brazing or soldering.   This water-based formulation will not produce any toxic hazardous fumes or harmful chemical by-products.  Clean-up is easy, just wipe off with a clean rag.  Viper Heat Blocking Gel will not leave behind any residue or discolour material and is Freeze/Thaw stable.

APPLICTIONS:

Spray on all surfaces to protect and block heat transfer to valves and other heat-sensitive components when conducting low-temperature brazing or soldering.  For high-temperature brazing, soldering or welding we recommend our Viper Heat Blocking Putty, Part No.  RT400P

DIRECTIONS:

1. Turn off or disconnect all power from the system.
2. Shake the container well, then spray a thick layer of gel onto components and all surrounding areas that may come into direct flame contact or heat transfer.
3. Use a low flame and flow with nitrogen for added protection while soldering or welding.
4. Allow surfaces to cool or spray additional gel on heated surfaces to cool them faster.
5. Wipe off gel with a clean rag.
6. Place system back into operation, all done!
