The MD-200 Series detectors are a marine & automotive
based gas survey unit designed to run in conjunction with
gas appliances for the detection of LPG/Propane Leaks.
(MD-220 Applies to Appendix K, L. Minimum Gas
Standards for marine vessel.)

MD-220 Incorporates 1 x 4M & 1 x 6M sensor leads &
Gas Lock off
Mount the Main unit in an easily visible and accessible location.
Mount the sensors in a different location (ie bilge & galley etc. of marine vessel or below stove in a
caravan) for detection of flammable/combustible gases. Recommend mounting sensors as low as
practical as LPG tends to flood along the floor.
The gas lock off to be mounted on the high pressure side of the gas supply
line.(Lower current draw lock off’s can be supplied for caravan/similar use)
12-24V AC/DC Power Input (240V applications use a 240V power pack)
2 Sets of Dry Relay Contacts:
-One for wiring external alarms, strobe lights, blowers, PLC etc.
-One for wiring in gas lock off or similar
User programmable selection for either:
-Alarm to turn off once the gas level is below the alarm point
-Alarm to continue until power reset once the gas level is below the alarm
point (for Marine Survey)
Once the unit is switched on allow approx. 1 minute for warm up. If no gas
is detected the unit will switch to the safe state.
Once gas is detected (above 25% LEL Propane or equivalent) the unit will instantly activate a high
pitch alarm as well as a visual alarm.

PCB returns will not be accepted once theseal is broken.
